What we do
Conversions, upgrades and standalone work
We work on campervans and panel vans of all makes and ages, with particular expertise in Volkswagen Transporters. The work splits three ways: complete conversions, individual upgrades to vans that are already converted, and finished vans we build for sale.
You do not need a full conversion to use us. Many customers come for one specific job: a pop-top roof, a window, a bed, a kitchen pod, sound deadening and insulation, or an electrical system upgrade. We treat each job with the same planning and fitting standards as a complete build.

Current build
2023 VW T6.1 LWB Highline
Currently undergoing a full Potteries Camper Co conversion. This long-wheelbase Highline will include a Storm pop-top with M1 bi-fold roof bed, ROAM M1 rear bed/seating, kitchen, solar and off-grid electrics, diesel heating, full insulation and lining, upgraded wheels and suspension, and a matching trimmed interior.
Available once completed — enquiries welcome during the build. This is a Potteries Camper Co stock vehicle that we own and are converting for sale, not a customer vehicle.
How the conversion process works
Five practical stages
Enquiry
We discuss the van, how you intend to use it, your priorities and your budget.
Quotation
The specification, price and expected programme are agreed in writing before work starts.
Booking
A booking payment secures the agreed build slot.
Build
The conversion is completed to the agreed specification, with progress updates and stage photographs throughout the build.
Handover
Final checks are completed, the fitted systems are demonstrated and aftercare is explained before you collect the van.

12-month workmanship guarantee
Our 12-month guarantee covers Potteries Camper Co workmanship. Equipment carries its own manufacturer warranty. Any mechanical or third-party warranty supplied with a stock vehicle will be stated on that vehicle's advert. This does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

Potteries Camper Co is based in Stoke-on-Trent. We are not a chain — but we are happy to hear from owners locally and further afield.
We regularly take enquiries from Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Stone, Stafford, Leek, Crewe, Nantwich and Congleton, along with the surrounding Staffordshire and South Cheshire areas. If you are willing to bring the van to us, distance is rarely the deciding factor.
